Korean Glass Skin Routine (with a Spicule Peel)

Quick answer: Double cleanse → spicule peel 1–2× weekly → hydrating essence → serum → moisturiser → SPF every morning. The spicule step is the multiplier: it smooths the canvas and makes everything after it absorb far better.
"Glass skin" isn't about layering ten products — it's light reflecting evenly off a smooth, well-hydrated surface. Two things create it: even texture, and deep hydration. Everything below serves those.
The routine:
AM: gentle cleanse → hydrating toner/essence → antioxidant serum → moisturiser → SPF (the single highest-impact step).
PM (peel nights, 1–2× weekly): oil cleanse → water cleanse → dry fully → spicule peel, 30–60s massage → hydrating essence → serum → moisturiser.
PM (all other nights): double cleanse → essence → treatment (retinoid or niacinamide) → moisturiser.
Why the spicule step is the multiplier: it resurfaces for even light reflection and opens micro-channels so your essence and serum penetrate properly. Most people's routines fail not because their products are bad, but because barely any of it gets past the stratum corneum.
Layering rule: thinnest to thickest, and let each layer absorb before the next. Damp-skin application of hydrating layers locks in more water — but remember the peel itself goes on dry skin.
What actually moves the needle: daily SPF, consistent hydration, and weekly resurfacing. Not product count.
Realistic timeline: hydration glow in 1–2 weeks; genuine texture change in 4–8 weeks.
Keep every product authentic — buy from the official store or an authorised retailer (real vs fake).
FAQ — Where does the peel go? After cleansing, on dry skin, before essence, 1–2× weekly. Do I need 10 steps? No. How long? Texture change in 4–8 weeks.
